As farmers ourselves, we are trusted providers of advice, resource monitoring services, feasibility studies and technical solutions enabling farmers and landowners to maximise their energy resource potential.
Greenwatt works with many partner companies and organisations in the UK and across the EU, building networks for knowledge exchange and joint working. We are members of the Warwickshire Rural Hub - a business support organisation which is led by farm and rural businesses working together as a farmer network across Warwickshire and Solihull exchanging best practice to improve their farming practices and management systems.
Greenwatt has carried out many energy audits for farms and factories leading to better resource management decisions and renewable energy solutions. The company recently completed a national study for the Royal Agricultural Society of England entitled ‘Refuelling the Countryside’ investigating the opportunities for renewable energy and transport fuels for use on farms. A main conclusion was that farms have very little access to accurate data relating to energy, weather and fuel use – there is a strong need for monitoring systems on farms leading to improved farm practices, energy efficiencies and precision farming systems.
