ICOS is an agricultural co-op that emerges from the merger of a group of smaller cooperatives in the region of Galicia.
ICOS mission is to provide services to its partner members, so the ultimate aim of ICOS SCG is to offer products and services that add value to the producers while covering its needs.
ICOS SCG has its registered office in the town of Chantada, specifically at the site of Sobreira- Fornas but its actual scope extends other municipalities: Taboada, Antas de Ulla, Monterroso, Palas de Rei, Portomarín Saviñao, Carballedo, Rodeiro and Silleda.
The overall turnover in the year 2014 had achieved the level of 44 million euros
The main goals pursued by ICOS S.C.G. are:
Improve profitability of farms associates.
Improve working conditions on farms, dignifying the work of the partners.
Conduct ongoing training and advice to members of both technological innovations and new work techniques, supporting its implementation on field.
Fix poopulation in rural areas, by increasing employment opportunities, to minimize the current progressive depopulation.
Become one of the economic engines of the region.

ICOS S.C.G. currently has about 1200 members, mainly engaged in milk production. Hence the main economic activity of ICOS S.C.G. is based to commercialize milk produced on associated farms and, secondly, provide a diverse range of services and the procurement of goods demanded from the dairy farmers.
Important brands within the ICOS conglomerate are: COLAGA (milk logistics and distribution), DELAGRO (procurement center), AIRA (animal feed manufacturer)
