Agro Igualada is a cooperative which deals with everything related to the agricultural world. We have been working in this field for over 90 years. Nowadays, our organisation has more than 450 members. Our cooperative is set in Igualada, in the centre of Catalonia.
The main crops in our region are cereal (basically wheat and barley), olive trees destined to produce olive oil, almond trees, vine and fruit trees. Not only does our cooperative help farmers to make more profit of their fields, but it also reduces their expenses. This is possible thanks to our agriculture advisors.
The members of our cooperative who grow cereal bring it to our cooperative in order to be sold, to make flour or animal feed. Olive producers come to our cooperative to have their olives milled to olive oil. We have an olive in-house. We also have warehouses to keep grain.
