IPMC designs and construct generic IT system arhitectures for a 'Decision Support System' (DSS), which can be customized to support Integrated Weed Management (Dir 2009/128/EC) in crop production systems in different countries. The company idea is to exploit that:
- weeds are not evely distributed in time and space
- different weeds need different level of control in different cropping sytems and countries
- different measures for weed control (mainly herbicides and mechanical control) have different efficacy on different weed species, which is also influenced by additional 'conditions'
