We have commissioned the milk department of our food complex whose construction at Meram is in progress and that will have proved to be the biggest integrated Milk-Meat Facility of the world once completed. And it's high time to gain pace and make progress. Once the facility is completed, we are proposing to process 2,000 tons of raw milk to produce 500 tons of packaged milk, 250 tons of yoghurt, 100 tons of buttermilk, 100 tons of cheese, 100 tons of milk powder and other derivatives.

The Panagro Dairy Products Facility will induce a major transformation in the region's income composition based on herbal production. Konya and its surrounding will have a strength in animal production at least comparable to herbal production. The facility will significantly upgrade both Konya Şeker and the agricultural industry of the region.

We believe that animal husbandry is an integral component of agriculture for enhancing the wealth of our farmers. Therefore, we have incorporated Panagro to support our beet producers also in the field of animal husbandry. Built on a total outdoor area of 343,000 sqm and indoor area of 80,000 sqm, the facility will also arouse the proud of hosting the greatest off the industry for our country.

While staging a natural and healthy production through a state-of-the-art infrastructure, the Panagro Integrated Meat-Milk Food Complex has set out to play a key role in flourishing the regional and domestic animal husbandry through the effective production chain we have set up, and further driving the producer wealth through value-added production.

With the start of the meat department, the facility will offer direct employment for 1,500 workers in production and 500 in sales processes, making up a total of 2,000 people, and introduce wealth accompanied by modern animal husbandry for a total of 50,000 farmer families, of which 10,000 are expected to focus on dairy and 40,000 on meat animal husbandry. Targeting to score an annual turnover of more than 1 billion dollars, and further to turn out to be the market leader, our enterprise is anticipated to get a rank among the top 20 standing of 500 biggest industrial organizations of Turkey.

Once put into operation, the Meat and Meat Products Facility boasting a daily capacity of processing 1,200 bovine and 3,000 ovine animals will produce 120 tons of delicatessen products, 25 tons of frozen products, 20 tons of processed fresh meat products and 75 tons of valuable meat. Thanks to this capacity, the facility will be capable of directly meeting 15 percent of fresh meat consumption of the country.
