Necmettin Erbakan University is a state university that was established in Konya in 2010. Necmettin Erbakan University consist of 14 faculties, 4 colleges, 4 insititutes, 6 coordination offices 13 research centers, and a state conservatory including prestigious faculties such as Ahmet Keleşoğlu Faculty of Education, Meram Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Theology.

NEU offers nationally competitive and internationally recognized opprtunities for learning, discovery and engagement, to a diverse population of students in a real-world setting. NEU also offers a full range of degrees in the areas of humanities, social, health, education, and engineering sciences.

Situated on a hilltop overlooking the entire city of Konya, Necmettin Erbakan University is located in an exceptional natural setting. Our students will not only be able to benefir from the excellent and reputable educational opprtunities and facilities offered by our our university, but they will also be able to enjoy the magnificient view of the entire city of Konya from the campus location in Dere Köyceğiz.

Our university aims to be become an international reference point in bringing out and spreading the original and sound knoledge, in corporate culture of freedom, which is participatory, respectfulfor diversity and innovative pioneering and trendsetting style in the field of research and education based on the principle of being sensitive to the needs of all other univerisities.

Our university is a new university which was founded in Konya, Turkey in 2010 but we have 26.000 students in different faculties and this number is increasing every year.

Our university is very active in social works. We have 106 students communities. Our students carry out activities for different target groups in different fields and realize social responsibility projects on volunteer base.

Erasmus Program in our university is run by Erasmus Coordination Department. In department of Erasmus there are 7 people including 3 staff, 1 Erasmus Coordinator, 4 Erasmus Assistant Coordinator.

Erasmus Coordination Unit also coordinates Eurodesk activities in our university. As Eurodesk our Erasmus Coordination Department provides information on European policies and opportunities for young people and those who work with them on volunteer base.
