Stichting IMEC Nederland (imec-nl) is a not for profit open innovation research center. It focusses on next generation wireless solutions and bridges the gap between fundamental research at universities and technology development in industry. It is active in technology development for ultralow-power radio and digital signal processing, energy storage, power management and sensor and actuator technology. Based on these building blocks, we build low power system solutions to address specific applications. These are now expanding from health and lifestyle to the agro-food sector where we see increasing interest in high-tech crossovers to support efficiency, personalization and sustainability.
With the creation of the OnePlanet research center, imec-nl and its partners Radboud University and Radboudumc and Wageningen University & Research, will work at the intersection of nanoelectronics, agricultural, food and health technology.
